Located at the start of the famous Alaska Highway, this resort has 16 full-service sites, 51 with water and electricity hookups, and 12 dry hookups. Check in-time is open, check-out is at 11 AM. Maximum RV size is 45 ft. With 30 amp electrical receptacles, air conditioners and heaters are allowed. All sites have picnic tables and Wi-Fi service. Tent camping is offered. Pay phones equipped with modems are available. Additional facilities include: toilets and showers in a heated building, laundry, outdoor pool, pavilion, playground, picnic area, horseshoes, and a sports field. Dawson Creek is located at the junction of four major highways and is a good resting spot before tackling the “Alcan Highway.” The town is an agriculture community with rolling hills, forests, scenic attractions, and wildlife.
